Where All games will be played at Guy Mason. Guy Mason has a great field with great parking. Guy Mason Field is located at 3600 Calvert St., NW (Upper Georgetown).

Softball Guidelines
- Rules and Regulations:
- Softball Specification: All softballs used in the league shall be ASA red approval 12 inch stamped .44 cor flight resistant softballs. Each home team should supply at least a dozen balls for each game.
- Slaughter Rule: In the event that the one team is winning by twelve (12) runs by the completion of the 5th inning, the game is declared a complete game and ended.
- Batting Line up: The batting order should alternate female and male and includes the ten (10) players that are in the field. If only four (4) females are on the team, the end of the batting order is allowed to be all men.
- Courtesy Runner: A courtesy runner will is only permitted to the catcher or pitcher when there are 2 outs left.
- Home Run Limit: There is no home run limit in effect.
- All plays will start with a 1 and 1 count.
- There is no grace on fouls, which means that a foul counts as a strike.
- Basic Information:

- All equipment (softballs, bats, mitts, etc) shall be provided by the individual teams.
- The use of alcohol, explosives, firecrackers, firearms, or weapons on District of Columbia property is prohibited by the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations and the District of Columbia Code.
- Neither the District of Columbia Government no the DC Parks and Recreation will assume responsibility for claims of personal injury or damage to public or private property arising from playing in the DPR Adult Leagues.
- Any game canceled due to inclement weather shall be re-scheduled within one (1) week of the original date of play.
- Other Guidelines
- Any questions concerning the league should be directed to the "commissioner" through the captains of each team.
- All contact should be made through email at [email protected].
- All scores should be emailed by the captains from the home team no later than 24 business hours after the game has ended.
- League standings shall be emailed within 48 business hours from the end of the last game played
- Inclement weather reports can be obtained from the weather hotline at (202) 673-7680 which will be updated at 11 am and 4 pm on game days. An email will also be sent to all captains at 4:30 pm on game days.
- Schedule changes shall only be granted in the case of a dire emergency once the season has started.
- Forfeits shall be declared no later than 4:30 pm on game day so that the information can be passed along to the opposing team and umpire association.
- Teams should arrive approximately one half hour prior to the scheduled start of their game. When applicable, games will start prior to the scheduled time.
- There will be a half an hour waiting period from the scheduled start time before a game is declared a forfeit.
